Here is another isle of the market. In all there are probably 60 or 70 people that show up three times a week to sell their goods. Some of them walk for miles.

Hola! Great pictures. I stumbled on your blog page through an email from David Boogard. I grew up in Ukarumpa, and these pictures are bringing it all back to me. I hope to make it back there for my parents' dedication near Madang. They're currently on furlough, and will head back later this year. I'm a flight instructor for LeTourneau University, and hopefully making my way into the airlines this Spring. I admire your patience with having to upload all these pictures through Ukarumpa's unparalleled high-speed internet!! I dunno if Bev Preater and Gail Edoni are still around, but if they are, do say hi for me! Alot of amazing folks flying there in PNG..and all for an even more amazing God! Thanks for the pictures and hope to see more!
